The Dell Precision T5610 is a dual-socket tower workstation designed for high-performance engineering, video editing, and complex 3D modeling. It supports up to two Intel Xeon E5-2600 v2 processors, 128GB of 1866MHz ECC RAM, and various NVIDIA/AMD professional graphics. Common configurations include 6-core or 8-core CPUs and Windows 10 Pro.
This Dell Precision desktop was used for several years as the primary development computer for a software development consultant. The consultant has now retired and a smaller Dell laptop is all the computer that is needed. This desktop system is listed for $150, OBO.
When originally delivered by Dell, this workstation was equipped with Windows 10 Pro and the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is 1.2. To update from Windows 10 to Windows 11 requires TPM 2.0. There are work arounds to this requirement and so I updated to Windows 11. In preparing this workstation for selling, I decided to return the system to it's original state. Therefore a new 1 TB drive was installed, formatted, and the original Windows 10 was installed. If any buyer is interested in the procedure to update to Windows 11 on this system, I can provide the process. However, I will not update back to Windows 11 prior to delivery.
