MANTECH seeks a motived, career and customer-oriented Linux Engineer to support our current NCIS contract out of Quantico, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• The Linux Engineer will maintain, upde, and secure existing Linux systems on both classified and unclassified networks in support of Cyber investigions and operions.

• Candides will be responsible for optimizing, maintaining, and securing Linux systems to ensure optimum performance with minimal downtime. 

• Candides may also be asked for creive contributions to improve existing processes and for surge support for various initiives in areas reled to their area of expertise

• Travel may be required to support operions.

Minimum Qualificions: 

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 4 years of experience working with Red H Enterprise Linux 7.X, 8.X, 9.X with a strong command-line interface (CLI) skillset (additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree).

• Experience securing Linux systems with DISA STIG requirements.

• Experience with Red H based tools such as Ansible and Red H Sellite.

• Familiarity with least one common scripting language such as Python, Perl, bash, etc

• Experience with virtualizion tools (Vmware, KVM, Proxmox)

Preferred Requirements: 

• Experience with monitoring solutions such as Icinga2 or Nagios Experience and / or willingness to learn DevOps and Automion.

• Familiarity with the DIACAP and/or RMF accredition processes, specifically with configuring Linux systems in compliance with the Security Technical Implemention Guides (STIGs).

• Experience with maintaining a secure, standard OS build process.

• Experience installing and managing PostgreSQL.

Security Clearance Required:

• Must have a current/active Top Secret / SCI.
