Very Good condition, only minor play wear
Plays like butta and sounds really awesome, but not MY kind of awesome. I really really really want this guitar to suit me because it's super duper cool and it's upgraded to the max. Sadly it just ain't my style.
I am fairly certain 2017 was the last year they were made in Korea, which was far far superior to the Indonesia and China factories, though the Chinese factories are still putting out decent Gretsch's nowadays.
This is also a special run of the Red Sparkle color. To my knowledge that particular run are the only Electromatics available in that color from the Korean factory.
It is setup very well with solid tuning stability.
The action is at 2mm or .08" at the 12th fret low E string
New set of 10-46 D'Addario strings
Intonation is very good
Here are some of the specs:
-Bigsby B6 tremolo (not the "licensed" B60 crap that normally comes on electromatics)
- U.S.A. made Sperzel locking tuners (upgrade). Original tuner screw holes are filled.
-Gretsch HS FilterTron Pickups (upgrade, this guitar came stock with BlackTops)
-Gretsch FIXED bar bridge (upgrade)
-24.6" Scale (NOT an upgrade... That would be nuts)
- Treble bleed circuit
-5 ply maple body
- Maple neck
- Graph Tech NuBone nut
- Bound Headstock
- Includes a molded plastic hard case but it's not a great case. It gets the job done but it's old and has minimal padding.
