JOB SUMMARY Le Grand Cru proudly employs a team of professionals with a passion for food and beverage and hospitality! The position of Bistro Server is dedicated to exceeding expectations of winery guests, and to ensure the highest level of service is consistently provided. Teamwork is the key to success in providing a warm and personal experience. The Server's role will be to provide excellent guest service with the support of the Lead Server, Food Runner, and Bussers. The Server will ensure the proper set up of the station and work areas assigned to them, and the efficient serving of food and beverage to all of his/her guests. At the end of their shift, the Server will assist in preparation for continued organized service and/or business the following day. The Server will also offer support to all other colleagues in the winery. RESPONSIBILITIES. To report for duty punctually, in full uniform according to appearance and grooming standards. To promote and maintain a positive working relationship at all times with all the Colleagues of Le Grand Cru & Potomac Point Winery. To follow all departmental policies, procedures and set service standards as outlined in the Bistro Training Manual. To consistently offer professional, friendly and warm hospitality to all guests. To foster and practice teamwork and cooperation with all other positions. To ensure that all work areas and stations are kept clean and tidy at all times. To be an ambassador for Le Grand Cru & Potomac Point Winery by promoting product, specials, upcoming events, and wine club benefits to all guests.
